From forest to furniture. Assisting the land owner in the proper management of their woodlot, according to their desires, to create and maintain a healthy, sustainable forest for future generations. A portion of this is accomplished by the selective logging of seed trees to make room for their seedlings to flourish. Then with the use of a portable sawmill, I custom mill the log to create quality lumber of nearly any dimension, either for the land owner's projects or to help them sell to others. There is also the added value of Kiln Drying, and the capability to produce hundreds of different types of moldings.
Having had the Honor of serving my country over the past 30 years, with some of the best people anyone could ever hope to know, I have developed a lifetime of Integrity that I will carry with me forever. This new chapter of life allows me to get out of the office and keep in shape. I also have the pleasure of helping others not only in the creation of their dreams but also saving money along the way, and I get to do something I truly enjoy. I do not intend to get rich, but the old adage about enjoying what you do and never having to work again seems to be true so far.
Having received personal training in Directional Tree Felling and Chainsaw Safety from Tim Carroll of Cedar River Horse Logging and Wood Products in Lyle, MN (tecarrol@gmail.com)and Ken Lallemont a Certified Instructor (timber-resources.com) if it can be safely dropped where it stands, I'm your man. But I promised my wife I would not climb any trees to take them down from the top down. I can refer you to someone else for that.
